  • Control your water use: Space out your dishwashing times throughout the day so your staff is only washing fully-loaded racks. Use a single bucket of water to mop the floors in multiple areas. Wipe down surfaces with green cleaning solutions rather than wetting them with water. 
  • Reuse cleaning items where you can: Microfiber rags can clean bacteria and other particles more effectively than paper towels and require less water and/or cleaning solution. As an added bonus, you can wash them and use them again. 
  • Look to conserve energy: Use cold water instead of hot when cleaning floors and prep surfaces. Set a schedule outlining prep, cleaning, and shut off times for kitchen appliances.
